Warning
The FUYL Locker 15 is heavy (88 Kg or 194 lbs). The FUYL Locker 5 is 35kg or 77lbs. Take appropriate lifting precautions while moving.
Additionally, familiarise yourself with the Safety Instructions before proceeding with installation.
Installation Steps
- The FUYL™ 15 is delivered horizontally, while the FUYL™ 5 is packaged upright. In either case, unpack the carton and lift the packaging to free your FUYL™ Locker.
- Remove the parts box and any additional packaging that is present.
- The FUYL Locker 15 has four adjustable feet. Locate them in one of the parts boxes and screw them into the corner brackets at the base of the locker. FUYL Locker 5 has its feet pre-installed.
- Manoeuvre the FUYL Locker into an upright position by raising it out of the carton. Use a lifting apparatus if necessary for safe lifting. Please discard the packaging with thought for the environment.
- When choosing a location for the FUYL Locker, consider the following:
- The LCD display will be more readable when ambient light levels are lower.
- Direct sunlight should be avoided in hot climates, as temperatures within the FUYL Locker could exceed the operating temperatures of stored devices.
- Choosing public, well-trafficked areas will contribute to the safety of users and reduce the likelihood of a break-in.
- The main power lead for the FUYL Locker should be connected in a location that is concealed, to avoid accidental or deliberate power down of the FUYL Locker while devices are charging.
- If network connectivity will be required, then a LAN port or cable must be provided in an appropriate location close to the locker. A suitable LAN cable can then be plugged into the ethernet connector on the rear of the locker.
- The FUYL Locker will require either a single mains socket or a permanent electrical junction box, preferably directly behind or above the locker. Any necessary electrical installation should be done by suitably qualified installers before the locker is moved into place.
- The mains supply cable should be fitted to the locker before it is moved into the final position. Plug the cable into the mains socket on the rear of the locker.
A supply cable is included with the locker. See the "Retrieving Accessories" section below if it can't be found easily. - Position the FUYL Locker 15 into the installation location, 40-90mm (1.5” - 3.5”) from the wall, and level/stabilise the locker by adjusting the feet at the base.

Mounting to the Wall (Full Height FUYL Lockers)
Ensure the FUYL Locker 15 is between 40 & 90mm (1.5” - 3.5”) from the wall and level/stabilise the
locker by adjusting the feet at the base. Affix the FUYL Locker to the wall using the supplied mounting bracket on top of the FUYL Locker. Affixing to the wall is critical for the stability of the FUYL Locker and safe operation.
Retrieving Accessories
When your FUYL Locker first arrives, accessories such as the power cable and bay-blinds may be located with a locked bay, if not in accompanying boxes. This guide demonstrates how to open the bay before powering on the Locker.
- Locate the accessory box by viewing through the bay windows. Take note which bay it's in.
- Retrieve the key from the green bag tied to the front of the locker.
- Use the key to open the lock(s) on the side of the FUYL Locker. Open the side access door.
- Locate the lock module adjacent to the bay that the accessory box is stored in. Press down on the override lever to open the bay.
